Getting to Sikkim

We can help coordinate your airport transfer so you don’t have to arrange the journey on your own. Before booking your flights, please speak with us, so that your transfer and the drive can be planned comfortably.

Departure flights

Option 1: Arrive a day earlier and stay at a nearby hotel

This gives you a greater selection of flight options, with shorter layovers and less red-eye flights. Stay a night in Siliguri, and your driver can pick you up directly from your hotel. We are happy to provide tried-and-tested recommendations for hotels in Siliguri.

Option 2: Book a flight that arrives in Bagdogra Airport before 10:30AM on the first day of your trip

This allows sufficient time for the drive, inclusive of lunch and tea breaks, so that you can reach the homestay in time for dinner.

Return flights

Option 1: A more relaxed departure

Stay an extra night in Siliguri on the last day of your trip. You will have more options to choose from, in terms of duration, layovers, and price.

Option 2: Book a flight that departs from Bagdogra Airport after 5:00PM on the last day of your trip

Breakfast will be served between 7–8AM, and check-out will be latest by 9AM for you to make it for your flight.
